Love Island got a clutch of new arrivals as Casa Amor officially began on Sunday night - including two from Yorkshire.

Cheyanne from Barnsley and Chyna from Leeds were both introduced along with several other new entrants on Sunday night - and immediately blonde bombshell Cheyanne grabbed the boys' attention - and the attention of viewers up and down the country who were equal parts thrilled and baffled.

Cheyanne Kerr, aged 23, from Barnsley, described herself as a 'trolley dolly', aka an air hostess, and wasn't short of confidence as she burst into the villa with Chyna and immediately the Yorkshire pair began questioning which boys were single.

But Cheyanne's thick-set Barnsley tones weren't to everyone's tastes.

AshRossDavis said, a touch crassly: "Best one is her from Barnsley.... until she speaks"

@CharlieGB014 said: "Really don’t wanna hear anymore of the Barnsley accent. Absolute s***"

@StirlingLewis said: "Not a casa amour girl from Barnsley wtf"

@AuditionPianist said: ""I'm Chyna" "I'm India" "I'm Barnsley"."

@ScottyHater said: "Of all the accents on planet Earth, God gave Cheyenne the Barnsley one. Utter waste."

@1isobelMurphy said: "i just knowwww people at home are trying to understand cheyanne right now"

@Aaron3110 said: "Cheyanne is fine as hell, but the accent could be enough to put me right off"

And it wasn't just the accent, but the way Cheyanne spoke rubbed some people up the wrong way too.

@Speedqueenie said: "Jesus Christ, has somebody dared Cheyanne to insert the word 'like' as many times as she can in each sentence?"

@TraylorHolmes said: "I foolishly started a drinking game for every time Cheyanne says “like”. Needless to say I’m wrecked".

But thankfully there were some native Barnsley folk who were thrilled to see their town represented and were quick to defend Cheyanne.

@appemichael said: "I LOVE that we have a Barnsley accent in there. More strong accents please!"

@izzy_lawley said: "‘I’m a trolly dolly from Barnsley’ already love her".

@AstonB89 said: "Cheyanne repping us Barnsley folk".

And representing Leeds is 23-year-old youth support worker, Chyna Mills. She has described herself as a "slow burner" when it comes to falling in love and said that it takes "a lot" to win her over.

Introducing herself to viewers, Chyna said: "Look at me - the boys will love me - and so will the girls!"

Immediately the new arrivals caused a stir after telling Andrew to get his act together and start getting to know people, suggesting that they have been watching this year's series before joining the villa.

Kevb97 said: "Even the new girls telling Andrew to wake up. never have I seen a contestant so in the mud"

@_mbx said: "Andrew the truth hurts hun"

@dashing_justin said: "Yessirr the girl pressuring Andrew Lmaoo that’s it my boy fold and get ya flirt on"

@hiyaw_degea said: "The new girls calling out Andrew >>>"

@_jsacks said: "Lmao they are sticking it on Andrew boyyy. Deep down he knows the truth as well. Needs to get to work asap"

Hannah McLaughlin said: "Andrew I promise you, they are not stirring the pot, they are being honest, if this experience teaches you anything… LISTEN!"

@its_keshkesh said: "I love these girls already yessss finally someone telling Andrew what he deserves to hear"

After the bust up, Andrew said: "I feel like a tit. I do want a test for myself, I want to make sure I enjoy myself in here, get to know the other girls and what will be will be."
