THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO ~~~~~ April 22, 2022 (LSNews) Hardworking Thunder Bay Police Officers were called to the Thunder Bay Hospital yesterday, Thursday after a local criminal with a history of violence had tried setting a hospital bed on fire. Sources indicate the fire was quickly extinguished by hospital staff and TBPS Officers arrested the man.

A 41 year old JAMES ANTHONY CHAPAIS was criminally charged with:
CHAPAIS was held at Balmoral Police Station overnight and transported to the Thunder Bay Jail this morning, Friday April 22,2022
CHAPAIS has a court appearance next week.
Sadly, TBPS Media Relations Coordinator Scott Paradis hasn’t told the public again.
He’s struggled for years to communicate with the public, just like his boss Chris Adams. Both of them are former TBLAZYWATCH employees with no policing experience. They just collect taxpayer dollars to do nothing.
TBPS Police Chief Sylvie Hauth has been unable to effectively manage the communications department and she is currently under criminal investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police
