Guam professional mixed martial arts fighter Frank “The Crank” Camacho lost by technical knockout in his return to the UFC cage after a two-year lull. He was the seventh fight on the card for UFC on ESPN 36, held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In his UFC debut, Manuel Torres landed a combination on Camacho, and referee Herb Dean stopped the fight at 3 minutes, 27 seconds in the first round.

Camacho dropped his professional record to 22-10 and 2-6 in the UFC, while Torres improved his pro record to 13-2, and 1-0 in the UFC.

Camacho last fought in June 2020 in UFC on ESPN 11, where he lost by TKO in the first round. His loss to Torres is his third straight, and fourth of his last five fights. Camacho’s last win was in June 2019 over Nick Hein.

Camacho had to cancel two fights he was scheduled for in the last two years. The first time, he contracted COVID-19 and the second, was due to his involvement in a multi-car collision that sent him to the hospital just days before his fight.
